Hello 2012!

Alright, so I've decided to post another blog entry today. I dunno, I just feel like it! Haha!

A lot had happen to me this 2011 though those things weren't exciting enough to be brag about. Lem'me start it with this. The year 2011 had been both good and bad for me.

Good in a way that I was able to patch things up in my life. I became mature, I think so. I was able to overcome the illness I had been suffering from since when I was a teener. Wanna know what that is? Haha! I used to self-pity a lot! I used to feel sorry for not looking pretty, for not being witty and a lot like that. I was able to think things through. I had been soul-searching since 10/05/2011, the day I resigned from my job. I thought I needed to quit job to give myself more time, for my family. And finally, after some time, I was able to realize that I don't have to be pretty to be loved. I just needed to love myself and that would be enough! Oh Gah! Why did it need couple of years before I realized that? Haha!

One of the good things that happened is that I've a lot of people. Before I quit taking in calls, there're a lot of newbies in our office that I got to know and passed on what I learned from my 1 year and 10 months experience about handling DSL connection issues.

Another thing is that I got a new job! Yeepee! Haha! I was hired before christmas! Although the training starts January 16, 2012, at least there's something to look forward to in the upcoming year! Haha!

Bad things that happened in 2011? I can't really think of those things clearly now that I became more optimistic about things in life. But if my memory serves me right, it's not really that bad but it's not that good either. I think it's me being so GAGA about this one guy. Beforehand, I treated him as an older brother but as we got to be close and knew each other well, I fell in love with the guy. He learned about it. He being my "kuya", he should've just pushed me away or just told me that the feeling's not mutual between us. Instead, he told me things that made me hope for something special. He did say "I love you" three times over chat in facebook. He would always make me feel like he liked me back. But on the latter part, I learned that he couldn't like me more than a friend from a friend of ours. That's just like a slap straight to my face. Anyway, I'm SO OVER him now! Hehe!

Things I look forward to in the coming 2012, there are actually a lot. I am hoping to write more stories, to finish my CE FFs that were left untouched! Haha!

Another thing I am expecting to happen next year is to go abroad. I really would like to work in Canada. Oh puh-lease! I badly want to go out the country and work! *sigh*

Please 2012 be good to me and all the people I love so dearly! :p

New Year!

Today is the 31st of December. This is the last day of 2011 and we'll be welcoming the year 2012. Here, I can feel the Media Noche vibes! Our neighbor started singing videokes, others are going to market to buy stuffs for their delicious Media Noche feast! Everyone's in a great mood!

Before 2011 Ends!

What I really wanted to do, badly, before 2011 ends and 2012 says hi, is to write to everyone I wanted to thank. Those people who stood by me the whole 2011 and will continue being by my side. I just can't thank you guys enough! xie xie for all the good things and bad memories we all shared this year. I hope the coming 2012 will be good to all of us! :p

Excited!

My father isn't home right now and won't be with us until 12/31/2011. He went to province earlier to accompany a friend. It's okay, he promised he would be home to celebrate New Year with us. But of course, we already started preparing for our Media Noche. I loved my sister's cheese sticks! Yummy! Also, I've missed my mom's Kare-Kare and she's gonna cook that dish for Media Noche! Yeepee!

Booyah! My diet! Urgh! :/

Anyways, food is not all the reason why I'm so ecstatic right now! I just can't wait for my New Year look! I'm planning to wear black and purple glittery eyeshadow, bare cheeks and nude or pink lips! If I'll remember, I'll post a picture of my look! :)

So much to look forward in the year 2012 and so much to forget and throw away in the year 2011. I just hope that this coming year would be a great one for me. :p
